Sanjay Kumar and Parmila are parents of 2 children. The elder one is Manisha and the seven year old Sujata is their younger daughter. A storm came knocking on their door in November 2017 when their daughter Sujata got an unusual swelling on her arm. Sujata’s father is a pesticide spray worker and earns a meagre amount of Rs 8000/- per month. After consulting doctors in Bihar and at AIIMS Sanjay took Sujata to Sri Ganga Ram Hospital. It was there that the doctors confirmed that Sujata was suffering from Bone Cancer and the treatment would cost around Rs 8 Lakh. They had already exhausted all their savings by admitting Sujata in these two hospitals and getting all tests done. They approached us and we left no stone unturned to make the fund raising campaign a success for her. The donors were instrumental in her treatment by contributing whole-heartedly.
